More About Coach Nick
I’ve been coaching young athletes for the past five years, working primarily with individuals between the ages of 8 and 18. Most of my experience has been in one-on-one training sessions focused on skill development, technique, and helping athletes reach their personal goals. In addition to my private coaching, I also spent one fall season as an assistant varsity high school coach, which gave me valuable experience working in a competitive team environment and collaborating with other coaches on practice planning and athlete development.
I played Division I soccer at the University of Milwaukee, where I competed for four years. After graduating, I continued my playing career professionally and have spent the past seven seasons competing in the USL. Playing one season with the Lansing Ignite, two seasons with the Indy Eleven, two seasons with San Diego Loyal, and two seasons with Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Honestly, a typical session really depends on the player — their playing level, position, and what they’re hoping to get out of the training. I always start by talking through those things first, because a session for a younger player still developing fundamentals will look very different from one for a college or pro-level athlete fine-tuning their game.
