More About Coach Nick

After spending the spring and summer training professional players for VVG Sports, Nick Graham started A N' A in the fall of 2009. Since then Nick has trained and mentored many of the areas best players; including over 50 college players, 26 of which play at the Division 1 level. Nick has also trained over 30 professional players including 5 who have played in the NBA. Of the 11 Colorado high school basketball players that were nominated for the Mc'Donalds All American Game Nick has worked with 7 of them.

Nicks training has been featured on the front page of the Denver Post Sports section, and he has been the lead instructor for several all star camps and even an All American Camp.

Played on scholarship at Washington State University of the Pacific 12 Conference. Played both point guard and shooting guard at the NCAA D-1 level.

During these private and semi private workouts Nick will tailor the workout to the needs of the players in the workout. Feedback from both players and parents is suggested. Nick's philosophy is to accept the player where they are at and patiently push them towards their destiny as a basketball player.

The workouts will focus on equipping players to confidently play game speed at an elite level. There will be a commitment to maximize the reps in each session. Also Nick will take the time to build the players up mentally, and also challenge them mentally to develop the mental toughness needed to play at a high level. Nick hopes to empower and inspire players to reach their potential.

Before Antonio came to A n' A and Nick, he lacked the confidence in his shooting and overall playing ability. I remember our introductory conversation with Nick. He asked Antonio, "What do you want to accomplish by participating in this program?" He said "I want to be a better shooter." Nick's response was "I can make you more efficient as a shooter". After attending 4 weeks of Nick's shooting camp, he played in a regional tournament where he averaged 22.6 ppg and his shooting percentage increased from 32% from the field to 67%. He credits Nick's program with his new confidence in himself and his overall basketball skills.
