4 years experience in a coaching position. Primarily assistant level and coaching baseball/softball clinics with 50+ athletes at once. I've been offering private baseball/softball lessons for the past 6 years. Love working with all age groups! I enjoy sharing love for baseball/softball, and sports in general (especially with the younger athletes). I always recommend playing as many sports as possible! Also I'm currently fresh out of my professional baseball career so relating to older more matured players, is something I'm very good at!

My sessions are typically focused around individual needs and differences. If there's one thing I learned from my professional career it's that; not every swing, or throwing technique is the same. I love to make things as simple as possible, even for older players. The game is hard, making it simple and fun are the main ingredients for success.
My hitting drills focus mainly on timing, rhythm, creating power generating separation and having intent. Always working on different parts of the game with purpose!
Our first lesson will consist mostly of analyzing the swing, and asking what things in particular they struggle with. This is a major step to becoming a better player and all around person! From there I can offer suggestions on how to improve some problems or certain weak points.
With younger athletes I provide simple details and instructions to build consistency with certain drills. With older more advance athletes I love sharing the knowledge and experience of success and failure, to enhance their mental toughness. Which is the main factor to becoming a collegiate or professional ball player.

Coach Nick has been great with my son. He's been able to fine tune some of his swing while still stressing the importance of hard work. I appreciate that he doesn't get too technical.
