More About Coach Nathan

I have experience coaching and training athletes from ages 8 through 20. I have worked with soccer players at the youth level and middle/high school level. I've also coached players at the youth and middle/high school level.

I have coached with FC Carolina Alliance for four years and spent the past five years coaching and officiating boys/girls soccer games at the middle/high school level. Most of my experience coaching/training soccer players is with youth and middle school students.

A client can expect a tough physical and mental challenging session. My goal is to motivate them to their limits and improve their overall performance each time they step onto the field. I want all my athletes to unleash the potential for being star athletes. The majority of my trainings focus on skill development (footwork, cuts, turns, dribbling, passing, shooting etc.). I believe a technical player is a good player and will ultimately determine his/her future success. As the player develops his/her technical ability I will shift more of my my focus on tactical skills i.e. (knowing when to shoot vs. pass, awareness of strengths/weakness of opponents and teammates, knowing who to pass to, etc.). Intertwined throughout my sessions I will incorporate fitness drills that focus on speed/agility/quickness, stamina, jumping ability, strength, balance, flexibility, power, etc. By using these three areas for a typical 45-60 minute training session, I guarantee athletes will see growth.
