More About Coach Natasha
I currently am the head coach for a boys U13 club team in Watertown, MA. I have coached for the club since 2021, and previous to that I was the head varsity coach for a high school in Brookline for 4 years.
I have experience coaching for Watertown Little Kickers program for four years. I also have my USSF C license.
I have played club soccer since I was 8 years old. I played D3 soccer, and played on 3 international Maccabi tournaments. I currently play for Eastern Massachusetts Women’s Soccer League in their first division.
In every session, I focus on building a strong technical and physical foundation through footwork, body positioning, and strength & conditioning. My goal is to help each athlete develop better body control, improve their movement efficiency, and build the strength and stamina required to compete at a high level.
A typical session starts with a dynamic warm-up tailored to the athlete’s needs and sport. From there, we dive into footwork drills that challenge coordination, quickness, and balance—whether it’s ladder work, cone drills, or change-of-direction sprints, everything is designed to enhance agility and precision.
Next, we’ll work on body positioning—this could mean refining an athlete’s posture when defending, learning to absorb contact while maintaining balance, or improving how they open up to receive the ball under pressure. I believe the ability to control your body in game-specific scenarios gives athletes a real edge.
We also incorporate strength and conditioning components throughout the session, focusing on functional movements that translate directly to performance on the field or court. Depending on the athlete’s age and development stage, that might include core stability, resistance training, or plyometric work.
Every workout is structured, but also adaptive. I constantly assess and adjust based on how the athlete is responding—whether they need more technical focus, a mental reset, or a push to break through a plateau. My sessions are demanding but supportive, with a strong emphasis on intentional reps and positive coaching.
