Depending on what age/skill level, but no matter what, fundamentals are essential.
High school+ will consist of high-endurance drills to condition & work on skills simultaneously. I base a lot off of what type of player I am working with, and to improve not only their areas of weakness, but continue to grow & perfect their strengths. If an athlete wants to have private lessons, they need to be all-in and ready to work. If playing at a certain college level is their goal, I've had experience recruiting & coaching at the highest and lowest levels. I know what coaches are looking for.
Elementary/Junior High - fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals. To me, especially girls, do not need to try to shoot 3pointers. They are not strong enough & are still growing. This is the best age to learn the game; when, where & why's of basketball. I like to incorporate a lot of hand-eye and reactant drills to perfect ball handling & passing, while working on consistent shooting form.

I worked with Coach Marlowe for two years when she was in Conway, Arkansas. Working with her was one of the best decisions I have made to greatly increase my skills and knowledge for the game of basketball. When you work with her, you create a connection with her, where she's not only your coach, she becomes a good friend. She loves the game and loves working with athletes. She'll push you to go harder and even pushes you to get out of your comfort zone to strive to get you to the next level. We met Coach Natalie Marlowe a few years ago when she was the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Coach Marlowe worked with our daughter, Kayla, for two years helping her develop and improve her basketball skills. She has great knowledge of the game and you can tell she enjoys working with and helping athletes improve their basketball skills. If the athlete isn't understanding what she's trying to get them to do she will stop and show them. She knows how to push the athlete to work to the best of their ability. We believe if it wasn't for Coach Marlowe, our daughter would not have played on her high school varsity basketball team as a sophomore.
