More About Coach Namarr

I served as a volunteer basketball coach in youth leagues and provided private training sessions for multiple young basketball players ranging from elementary to high school level for some years. Other services included training adults, and serving as an assistant coach for a High School's Boys Varsity Basketball team. I carry experience from my training as a former collegiate ball player, and a coaching course that I took while in college.
Recently, I studied and completed the necessary requirements to earn the Foundations Of Coaching Certification.

I've had the privilege to play collegiate basketball in the NAIA for Knoxville College and collegiate baseball in the NCAA Division II at Kentucky State University. As a player, I've been awarded the Coach's Award for my good work ethic and sportsmanship. I've also been awarded multiple Student-Athlete awards.

A typical session with me will consist of drills covering all of the basic to advanced fundamentals in shooting, passing, dribbling, defense, rebounding, court-vision, studying basketball from both offense and defensive perspectives. I also include fitness, strength & conditioning workouts in practice.

Coach Namarr is super mellow and chill. He is passionate about basketball and it really shows. Keeps it real. My 6 year old son has difficulty focusing and has pretty rudimentary ball skills. Coach Namarr kept him going for 2 hrs even though he usually gives up after 15 mins. Amazing!

We had our first session with Coach Namarr today, and I was very impressed with his preparation, enthusiasm, and expertise. My sons, 10 and 12-years old, were motivated and excited to work on their basketball skills with him. They gave him two thumbs up and look forward to future sessions we have booked with him.

We just completed our first session with Coach Namarr for my 11-year-old son. Coach Namarr arrived timely and provided a detailed practice plan designed to assess my son's abilities. It was very obvious that Coach Namarr has great knowledge of the game, and is very patient, positive and encouraging.
