As a younger man I played club soccer for New York Soccer Central and my High School team the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams.
Upon graduating High School I was able to continue my playing career at Hobart College (NCAA DIII).
Each new client will be assessed and evaluated in their first session so that I can understand their experience, ability, and objectives in order to better guide session plans from there on out.
A typical session for a more advanced player (1 or 1.5 hrs) would be composed of various activation exercises - based on the theme of the day - followed by a series of more involved and game like situational drills to work on the goalkeeper’s live decision making, reaction and handling of various complex situations.
A session for a newer goalkeeper (1hr) will be more focused on the fundamental technical, physical and mental elements of the position. Building a solid foundation atop which the more detailed aspects of the position can be added.

Client Reviews
Melissa (CoachUp client)
Coach Morgan has worked with my 17 yo GK a few times and it has been a terrific experience all the way around. Highly recommend.
Cristina (CoachUp client)
We have finally found a coach for my son to gain experience in goalkeeping. Local soccer clubs do not focus on keeper training and the techniques they teach are incorrect. Coach Morgan has corrected some of these poor methods and continues to train and teach him new skills. He is supportive, helpful, tough, professional and experienced in his coaching methods. Every session my son comes home excited but tired with lots of useful tips and skills to use. Would highly recommend.
Lisa (CoachUp client)
Coach Morgan was great. He took time to get to know my son and patiently explained the drills. My son really clciked with him.
Andreas (CoachUp client)
Coach Morgan has been instrumental in our son's development as a goalkeeper. His hands-on approach and effective training scenarios have helped our son not only improve his technical skills but also develop mental resilience under pressure. Coach Morgan's personalized attention and constructive feedback have significantly contributed to our son's progress. What sets Coach Morgan apart is his ability to instill confidence in his students. Under his guidance, our son has not only honed his skills but has also gained a strong belief in his abilities on the field. Coach Morgan's dedication to his students' growth is evident in every session. He provides a structured environment where our son can consistently push his limits and improve as a goalkeeper. We are grateful for Coach Morgan's mentorship and the positive impact he has had on our son's journey as a goalkeeper.

Coach Morgan has been fantastic with my 10 year old budding goalkeeper. He takes the time to explain and motivate him to focus on the correct fundamentals as he progresses to more advanced concepts. He works him hard and makes sure the effort 100% for maximum learning and fun. I woudl highly recommend Coach Morgan for a keeper of any age who want to improve their performance.

Having Coach Morgan as our child's goalkeeping coach has been an absolute game-changer. His hands-on approach and outstanding instruction have not only honed our child's skills but also instilled a deep sense of confidence in her abilities. Coach Morgan doesn't just teach techniques; he creates realistic 1v1 situations during training that simulate game pressure, allowing our child to develop both the physical and mental skills needed to succeed. Coach Morgan ensures that every session is not just a lesson, but an opportunity for growth. Thank you, Coach Morgan, for being an invaluable mentor and shaping our child's journey as a goalkeeper!
Eric (CoachUp client)
Coach Morgan is well prepared for the session and gives great individual level feedback and direction to my daughter. She's in 7th grade and has very little formal goalie training and we are seeing improvement in her game even after the first session.
Ilene (CoachUp client)
Coach Morgan made an impactful difference after working with my 12-year-old son even after just the first session. He's very knowledgeable, could see the smallest things that needed adjustment, and my son attests that Morgan was "very kind." We have already signed up to work with him for additional sessions. He will make a big difference in my son's play in goal.
Brian (CoachUp client)
Coach Morgan coaching style is very good, he explains what to do and how to do it very well, His experience as a goalie is evident. His personality and his obvious love of both coaching and the game shines through
Matt Milograno - Director at BLGK Academy & Head Coach for SUNY Canton Women's Soccer (NCAA DIII) (Testimonial)
I have spent more than 10 years working with Morgan and have seen his development from goalkeeper into goalkeeper coach, and witnessed his same commitment shown in both his playing and coaching career. His goalkeeping sessions are well organized and dynamic, encouraging the keepers to challenge themselves from start to finish. The attention to detail, energy and enthusiasm he brings to each session are a genuine reflection of the care he puts into providing quality goalkeeper sessions and overall goalkeeper development.
