More About Coach Miranda

I have been coaching since 2012 as both a head coach and performance coach, working with athletes from youth to professional levels. My background includes:
Speed & Conditioning Coach for youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes
Performance Physical Therapist, specializing in injury prevention, return-to-sport strength progressions, and movement optimization
Experience with elite-level athletes, including conditioning work with Denver Broncos players following their 2016 Super Bowl season
Former Director of Sports Performance in Arizona, overseeing athlete development programs and staff coaching
EXOS-trained with advanced experience in speed mechanics, change of direction, and strength development
Coach at D1 Training, leading acceleration, agility, footwork, and strength sessions for athletes of all ages
Managed and programmed for my own performance gym, training athletes across soccer, baseball, football, lacrosse, and general youth development
I bring a hybrid approach that blends sports performance coaching and sports physical therapy, giving athletes evidence-based training, individualized movement corrections, and results that carry into competition. My priority is helping athletes become faster, stronger, more confident, and more resilient in their sport.

I competed in elite sports throughout my youth and high-school years, including:
Semi-professional soccer background
Captain and standout contributor on a state-contending high-school soccer team
Competed for one of the top youth soccer programs in Colorado
Dual-sport athlete, also running for a top-ranked cross-country program known for its competitive distance training
Lifelong athlete who has continued training beyond high school
Currently participates in CrossFit, adult-league soccer, and golf, maintaining a high level of personal athleticism and conditioning
My own background as an athlete gives me a deep understanding of speed, endurance, competition demands, and the mindset required to perform at a high level.

Initial Session:
Your athlete’s first session includes a strength and movement assessment to identify baseline mechanics, mobility, stability, and speed potential. This ensures training is targeted, safe, and progressive.
Ongoing Training:
I specialize in group training because athletes learn faster, push harder, and gain confidence in a competitive environment. I offer:
Private sessions (1:1)
Small groups up to 5 athletes
All training focuses on:
Acceleration & sprint mechanics
Multi-directional agility & footwork
Strength development for speed
Conditioning for sport-specific demands
Movement quality, efficiency, and durability
Program Expectations:
Training is a partnership. Athletes who train with me will also be expected to complete skill work and self-guided conditioning on non-session days to build ownership and discipline in their development.
This approach teaches athletes how to train, not just how to follow a program—building confident, independent, high-performing competitors.
