I wanted to take the time to thank Mike Huber for his time and expertise. The hitting course was right in line with what my son had been training with since he was in Tee Ball. I believe that Ted Williams was the best power hitter for average the game has ever seen and he also had success in teaching his techniques when he was a coach. Mike takes Ted’s teachings and carries the torch forward for a new generation of hitters at all levels. The hitting drills reinforce the technique that should be every hitters’ goal !!! My 14 year old son Clayton is a 6’3″ /175 lb. kid entering his freshman year of high school. It goes without saying that every hitter, from time to time, gets some type of minor bad habit in their swing. My son was dropping his hands a little on the back-side load, about two weeks before a Perfect Game Tournament. I had sent some videos to Mike and he quickly identified a drill to do 50 times a day. My son did the drill 100 times a day and the flaw was gone within those two weeks. Clayton attended the Perfect Game 14u BCS Finals from July 4th-July 10th, 2013. This was a Tournament that was comprised of 48 Elite Travel Ball Baseball Teams that had to Qualify to enter the tournament. The average team brought 15 players with some bringing as many as 19. With over 700 elite players from all over the East Coast, Texas, Puerto Rico, Illinois, and Arkansas whose Pitchers’ speed topped 87 mph on the radar; Clayton Earned Top Stat Leader Status in Batting Average, On-Base + Slugging % (OPS), and Slugging %. He had 28 total plate appearances during the tournament with zero strikeouts. Clayton was first overall in Batting Average with a .667 and first overall in OPS with a 1.750. He ranked second overall in Slugging Percentage with a 1.000. He also had two of his games monitor the ball exit speed off of his bat. He was the only one in the tournament to register twice in the top 9 and the only one to get extra base hits off both of his “Airplane Shots”. (Foul balls were also counted in the ball exit speed standings) Mike is a true professional that can help you get to the next level if you’re willing to listen to him and follow his advice. Mike has helped me so much the past two years working with him. I was in a huge slump to start off my 2013 season, and Mike noticed that I was struggling. When I started taking lessons with him my play improved so much by the end of the season I was batting over .400! He also boosted my confidence which helped my performance a ton! Prior to learning HubieMagic my son, Zach, was batting 9th in the order and had a batting average of .250 after the first 17 games of his 2014 season. His travel team had a long weekend off and that is when I brought him to you to learn the HubieMagic swing. After having learned HubieMagic and over the course of the second half of the season (22 games) Zach batted .333 and was moved to 6th in the batting order. The baseball just explodes off his bat now and his confidence at the plate has grown exponentially. At the last tournament of the 2014 season, Zach went 5 for 10 with 7 RBI’s and hit two bombs!
