I have coached multiple sports at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels as an assistant and head coach. II have coached lacrosse at the youth level for the Arlington Youth Lacrosse program for the past 4 seasons and was the head coach for Assumption College for the 1995 season. In 2003 served as a volunteer head coach for MetroLacrosse in Boston. Typically I work with the U9-U11 ages and to a smaller degree with U-13. I have completed my Level 1 U.S. Lacrosse Certifictation and am working toward my Level 2 certification.

I have played organized sports my entire life however I did not pick up lacrosse until I attended Washington College in Chestertown, MD. I played on the B team for a season before co-founding and playing for the WC Lacrosse Club. I also played in the Baggataway Summer League for 4 seasons.

A client can expect a heavy dose of lacrosse fundamentals, especially for the U9-U11 ages. I focus on the techniques of throwing and catching emphasizing the use of both hands. I also focus on scooping up ground balls and protecting the stick. Once those fundamentals have been formed I add in dodging and shooting. Defensive including basic poke checking and footwork is also added into the mix. I like to use drills emphasizing moving without the ball and catching and throwing while moving in different direction to simulate how a game is played.
