Client Reviews

We had a great session with coach Mike. He was very knowledgeable and gave consistent methods. Then he built off of each drill.

Coach Mike was great! He was very clear in his feedback and always let me know when I could improve something. He is very helpful with technique.

Coach Mike was great with my Child. He is knowledgeable and works well with kids! Would recommend!

Coach Mike is next level. Extremely professional, super knowledgeable, and great working with female soccer players. I feel a lot more confident just after one session. The entire session felt like we did not waste a single minute. Everything was go go go. I'm looking forward to continue working with him to further better my game.

My 10 years old son had his first private coaching with coach Mike and it was an excellent experience. My son had been practicing almost every day since early this year and improved greatly on skills, but needed guidance on actual tactics to be used during a game.
Coach Mike immediately began working on skills and 1st touches that would help during a game along with overall awareness. Coach Mike gave positive reassurance throughout the practice. When my son made mistakes, Mike would think from the children's point of view and understood why that mistake was made. My son immediately realized the new training methods and is excited to learn more.We are both excited for more future training with the coach!

Coach Mike was great to work with!! On the first training he taught my daughter alot. Look forward to working with him in the future

Great coach! My son enjoyed working with him from day one and looks forward to future lessons.

Mike was great with my son. Professional and friendly.

Coach Mike quickly put our daughter at ease for her first one-on-one coaching session and helped change some bad habits and start new ones. She is looking forward to continuing to train with Mike.

Mike is excellent. From the outset he was very responsive to communication and our specific needs. I showed him highlight video from two of my daughter's games. Based on the video, he assessed areas that she needed to work on, provided written notes, and crafted a session based on what he saw in the video. My daughter felt the session was helpful. We plan on continuing our work with Mike.

Our daughter had her 1st session with Coach Mike and he made an Amazing Impression, she's definitely ready to be back in the game. We look forward to our future sessions :)
Thanks Coach Mike

My daughter really enjoys working with Coach Mike. I highly recommend his training technique and style.

Coach Mike was very thorough and was able to accomplish a lot in a short period of time. He really helped with mechanics and has a great personality. I would highly recommend him.

We had a great first session with Coach Mike! My 13 year old daughter hadn’t played as much as a lot of kids by her age and really wanted to improve for high school. Coach Mike quickly evaluated her and started working on skills. They worked hard the whole hour and she improved markedly! He had a great repore with her - he was very encouraging and challenged her. She has been practicing what she learned every day since.

Coach Mike gave us a GREAT first impression! He is very friendly and approachable. My daughter of 15 years, felt really comfortable training with him. Coach Mike is well versed on technical skills needed on the field. I will be commiting to additional sessions. Feeling excited! See you soon coach. (=

Coach Mike made a great impression on my son for a first session . His eye for adjusting the little things made the session a good learning experience . Will post more as the sessions continue.

It was my first time training with coach mike, he is an awesome coach. He knows what each drill is supposed to improve on the player. Also he added conditioning with some of the drills we worked on, it was much needed. Some drills were new to me so I was very uncomfortable doing them but I believe it will help me in the long run. Thanks coach Mike!

Coach Mike is very encouraging to my sons (8 and 11 years old). He is inspiring and truly cares. He does important drills with them. But also keeps them interesting. I see a difference in their confidence too.

My son loved working with Mike. We look forward to many more sessions with him. My son is excited to improve his game.

Working with Mike on a daily basis I saw him, not only effectively coach, but lead and mentor players, gain trust and grow relationships and positively advance our program on and off of the field. Mike has been a pleasure to coach alongside, get to know and work with over his time here at SAU. I fully anticipate Michael having an excellent professional career and I am confident of him being a great ambassador for the sport of soccer
I have had the opportunity to develop an incredible working and personal relationship with Mike Davis over the last 7 years, as I have served as his soccer coach with the Quad City Eagles (a men's semi-professional soccer team that plays in the NPSL); his employer with Augustana College Soccer camps; and mentor for other coaching projects. In short, I can describe him as an incredibly selfless leader that strives for improvement and perfection in all he endeavors. I have seen Mike's passion and determination translate to his work as an educator and instructor of soccer. He is incredibly organized with a great desire to exceed expectations in all of his coaching tasks. I can honestly say that he is one of the most committed young coaches to continuing education that I have come across in quite some time. His ability to relate to and instruct youth players is exceptional. He has a very good approach to teaching and leading youth in thoughtful and meaningful learning activities. There is a confidence and ease in his approach that is magnetic, and in my observation kids tend to tune in and receive information from Mike quite easily. In short, I have been impressed with his ability to teach the game!
I had the pleasure to meet Mike while he was working on my University of North Carolina team camp. He brought energy and enthusiasm to the camp while working with my staff, and his coaching sessions were very well received by the players. He was able to learn the different sessions and style of play we try to present at the team camp allowing all the players on the 14 teams to improve collectively and individually. Through talking with him about tactics and soccer ideas in general, and spending time answering questions he posed for me at lectures and talks which I presented, I could see his depth of knowledge for the game. The staff who worked with him during his time in North Carolina, were very impressed with his knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to learn new ideas and techniques in a speedy manner. Mike is a pleasure to work with because of his positive attitude and infectious enthusiasm for soccer. He would bring that to any coaching position.
I hired Mike last spring as my assistant coach at Gonzaga University. I was very impressed with Mike’s passion for not only developing quality players, but quality individuals who are prepared with the skill set to problem solve and succeed in, and after college. He brought many new ideas to our program in regards to developing team chemistry and building character through sport. Mike is a sharp coach who has a very good foundation of soccer technique and tactics. His ability to find very appropriate teaching clips and his delivery was spot on each time during his video analysis of games and practices. If I had the opportunity to hire Mike Davis again, I would not hesitate for one moment.
