More About Coach Miguel
I currently coach with Inter Atlanta FC, working with U8–U9 boys focused on technical development, confidence, and decision-making. My sessions emphasize ball mastery, first touch, and composure under pressure. I’ve led youth players through small-sided training environments, game prep, and growth-centered drills that build both skill and self-belief.
As a personal trainer, I’m building First Touch Soccer ATL, offering private and small-group sessions for players seeking to improve their control, touch, and soccer IQ. I also possess my U.S. Soccer Grassroots License to advance toward the D License.
Former competitive player with strong technical foundation and game understanding developed through years of club soccer. Known for leadership, tactical awareness, and consistent performance as a midfielder.
My background as both a player and coach allows me to connect with youth athletes — teaching them discipline, confidence, and creativity with the ball.
A typical session is 60 minutes and starts with a high-energy warm-up to engage coordination and confidence. We move into ball mastery drills (inside/outside touches, changes of direction, 1v1 moves), then progress into first-touch and decision-making exercises under pressure.
Each session finishes with a small game or challenge that reinforces confidence and composure. My goal is for every player to leave feeling sharper, more confident, and inspired to train with purpose during the week.
