I have a plethora of knowledge when it comes to coaching individuals in the art of volleyball! Volleyball has been my passion since playing in high school and playing in (club) college. I have previously coached varsity high school volleyball and am eager to help others reach their full potential. I coached at Zebulon B. Vance High School from 2014 - 2016 (varsity) as well as Northern Mecklenburg High School during the 2013 season (varsity). I specialize in front row hitting, spiking, blocking and strategy. I also work with all ages from adults to teens!

I have previously played high school volleyball (Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, NC from 2009-2011) as well as played volleyball (club) in college (2011-2013). During my multiple seasons with the Jack Britt Buccaneers, we went to regionals (NC) and competed to make it states. During my senior season, we were # 33 in the state of North Carolina. During my time playing club at UNC Charlotte, we were #1 in our club conference during my freshman season (2011). It has been a passion of mine for several years and I look forward to helping others find that same passion. I also have an online platform which coaches players (45,000 subscribers) all over the world about the wonderful art of volleyball!

I tailor each session to the individual player that way they can get help with the skills and strategies that they need help with the very most. Each session will be different and consist of different training exercises. The first session we will analyze the players individual skills to better observe what needs to be immediately worked on. Then we will talk about the skills that you want to improve and how we can go about improving those skills. Each session will be tailored to improving skills and becoming more verse with the game.

-During the spring due to reservation issues , we will be working outdoors in the grass.

Great skills coach who makes learning fun!

Michiko was an excellent person to have on our coaching staff. Not only did she help the young ladies pursue their dreams in regard to volleyball. She also instilled friendships and helped them grow as young women. During the season, Michiko : -Coached and enthused high school volleyball players to pursue their passion in the sport. -Attend practices and games. -Motivate ladies to pursue the sport. -Helped with individualized skills (spiking, hitting, blocking) Michiko was a great edition to the Zebulon B. Vance High school team and we will miss her dearly!
