More About Coach Michelle

I have coached at the high school level for six years. From 2008-2011 I was the assistant varsity coach at New Bedford high school specialist in pitching. From 2012-2014 I became the Freshman Girls Softball coach at New Bedford High School. I also have been giving private pitching lesson to girls of all ages ranging from beginners to advanced pitchers.

I went to New Bedford high school and became the starting pitcher my junior and senior year. I was named captain my senior year and made the Standard times Super team, and Boston Herald all star, ending with an ERA of 0.68. I then went on to Fitchburg State where I started there for four years. I was all conference and captain for both my junior and senior year.

Beginners: Mechanics will be the main focus of the lessons. We will work on wrist snaps and the spin of the ball. Students will learn how to properly use their legs and hips to get power behind the ball.

Advanced: continue to work on proper mechanics and learn different spins of the ball to accurately throw different pitches, such change ups, drops, curve ball and more.
