More About Coach Michael
I have extensive experience coaching and training athletes across multiple sports, with a primary focus on lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and football performance. I’ve worked with athletes at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels, helping them improve speed, agility, strength, and overall athletic performance.
I currently train athletes through 99 Elite Performance Training in Matawan, NJ, where I specialize in small group and 1-on-1 sessions. In addition to running performance programs, I have hands-on coaching experience as a lacrosse coach at both youth and high school levels.
I typically work with athletes ranging from ages 10 through college-aged, tailoring each program to their sport, position, and individual goals. My training emphasizes proper technique, injury prevention, and building a strong foundation for long-term success.
I am also preparing for my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification to further advance my expertise in sports performance.
My background includes being a collegiate athlete myself at Georgian Court University, where I earned honors such as CACC Player of the Year (2018) and Male Athlete of the Year (2018).
Every athlete I work with has a program tailored to their individual needs, but most sessions follow a proven structure designed to maximize performance and reduce injury risk. This approach builds a strong foundation while allowing room for sport-specific customization.
Dynamic Warm-Up – Activate muscles, improve mobility, and prepare the body for high-performance movement.
Running & Jumping Drills – Develop speed, agility, and explosiveness to transfer directly to game play.
Weight Lifting – Build strength and power using sport-specific lifts and movement patterns.
Core Strength – Enhance stability, balance, and rotational power for better overall athletic control.
Cool-Down – Stretch and recover to maintain flexibility and reduce the risk of injury.
