More About Coach Michael

My experience working with athletes is well verse and for my age extremely extensive. I have worked as a coach/trainer since I was in high school, as an athlete myself. I worked at Apollo Park in Downey, CA from the age of 14 until the age of 18 in their premier coaching program. When I attended college I worked for our kids summer camp program, every summer for 4 years, training the young athletes in the area. When I graduated college I started my own training sessions and have kept up with them since then, 2018. I am 27 years old now and have only grown in the space. I now train high level college and professional athletes and I am just looking to expand my reach and do even more.

Played D-1 Basketball at UC Davis (University of California Davis). 4 Year Letterman
Most winningest player in school history. Over 80% win percentage
Helped lead team to 3 college championships (only player in school history with 3 major college championships/rings)
Lead team in Free Throw percentage (85%) senior year and 3 point percentage (43%)

We will always start with stretching, which is key. After that we are immediately into ball handling/ ball control drills that will truly warm the athlete up. Next we go into a variation of shooting or finishing that suits the athletes. Then we us the bulk of the workout to do repetition of specific things the athlete needs whether that be footwork into a shot or dribble, balance and shot prep, or anything else we see we need to work on. Then that would lead us to thew end of the workout with a finisher and we will try and get the athlete to his or her peek exertion that will consequently get them better in the long run. End with a Challenge pretty much.
