More About Coach Michael

I have experience training athletes at the highest collegiate level down to the youth level. I am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach at St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco where my teams have had tremendous success. I am open to training people of all experience and skill levels.

I ran Division 1 track and field at the University of California, Irvine. At Irvine, I was a long jumper and sprinter. I graduated UC Irvine in 2014 with the 6th best 100 meter time in School History. I was also a 2x team captain and an All-Big West Scholar-Athlete in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Prior to Irvine, I was a two-time CA State Meet competitor, finishing 8th in the State in Long Jump in 2010.

I customize my training programs for each of my athletes given their age, level, skill set and goals. I find it vital to get to know my athletes and communicate what it is they want to achieve. I can then put together a training plan using their feedback and my knowledge of the requisite training. I aim to create a fun, hard-working environment.
