More About Coach Michael
I have extensive experience in coaching competitive soccer in Southern California. My coaching expertise lies in refining players' footwork, conducting drills that simulate game situations, and enhancing finishing skills. My unique approach to coaching helps build players' confidence in all aspects of their game. I have successfully coached for 8 years in competitive club soccer, as well as 4 years of high school soccer. In addition, I have provided personalized training for athletes ranging from 7 years of age to professional players.
Beginning at a young age of 4, I started my soccer journey as a passionate player. In 2009, I was part of a team that achieved a significant milestone by bringing my Highschool its first CIF Championship. I continued my trajectory of success in the following year of 2010, where my team won the Southern California National Championship title, bringing glory to our hometown. Towards the conclusion of my student-athlete career, I played one season, securing a league title at Oxnard College. Further, I had the opportunity to play semi-professional soccer for two years as a member of the Oxnard Guerreros. Injuries would ultimately end my career. I now have a passion for building superb athletes.
Each session consists of a structured 30-minute segment dedicated to enhancing ball mastery skills, followed by an additional 30 minutes focused on honing game-like situational finishing abilities. This comprehensive training approach emphasizes the importance of maximizing touches on the ball and optimizing shot opportunities to facilitate the development of unwavering confidence in the player.
