More About Coach Michael

I was a McDonald's All-American Nominee in high school. I played for St. Mark's School (MA) and was captain my senior year. I led my team to an undefeated, New England Championship season and was All-League for three years.

I received scholarship offers from Providence, Bucknell, Sienna, Air Force, Holy Cross, Colgate, Harvard, Columbia and Brown among others.

I coach basketball at The Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn.

As a result of having great coaching over the years, I understand the game from every position. I am 6' 8", but played guard and forward when I was growing up and continued in college because I was versatile.

I think it's important to develop all aspects of one's game. Post players should know how to pass and shoot and guards should know how to post up and rebound.

Whether you're a guard, forward or center, I'm confident I can improve your game. I have experience coaching teams, small groups and one-on-one.

Off the court, I work at a private school as a middle school teacher and tutor as well.

I can travel to your location if relatively close.

Coach Michael is a great coach. Not only is he positive and personable , but he is very systematic and knowledgable. He saw what aspects of the game my son needs to work on and wasted no time getting to it. I know my son, and any player will grow and improve through training with coach Michaeal

Michael is a great coach! He is a highly skilled player and teacher with the patience and attentiveness to ensure I internalize our lessons. You will see big improvements in your golf game and have fun working with Coach Michael - no doubt as a result of his going above and beyond as a coach.

Coach Michael is a great coach. He added some very simple tweaks to my game in order for me to be a way more consistent shooter. I find that whenever I get a chance to practice before a basketball game I come back to redoing drills that coach Michael had me doing during our time together. Highly recommend him!

My 11-year-old daughter and almost-8-year-old son just had a joint session with Coach Mike and they both loved it. Mike did an excellent job of giving both kids a great review of basketball basics while keeping them engaged and active. They've both played on teams in the past but clearly gained new insight into the step-by-step basics of shooting, passing, defense, etc., with Mike's individualized coaching. He helped them think about what they were doing right and wrong while still keeping things fun. Mike also did a great job of balancing his attention equally between both kids and was always encouraging. I highly recommend Coach Mike (and my kids do, too!).

Coach Michael was an excellent coach in that he offered patience and insight. His methods aren't boring at all and he gives a wide variety of drills. Great coach, I suggest booking him if you're looking for any basketball-related help whatsoever.

Michael was really great to work with. I've played basketball many years and he still had a bunch of great tips to help my fundamentals, as well as teach me some new skills. I think he would be able to help anyone improve their game, from beginner to advanced.

Top notch instructor. Super-engaged and helpful. Fantastic attitude. 100% recommend.

It's a real pleasure working with Michael. He knows what he is doing and has the skills to pass the information to me so I can improve quickly. Very patient and professional.

Coach Michael was great! Very smart in the way he coached my son. He showed him techniques that my son had never known before. He was patient and firm. My son had a great session with him.

Coach mike was great, he's very knowledgeable. He was able to quickly point out the problems with my game and gave helpful pointers to fix them.

A very good teacher. Points out every detail on your form or footsteps. Helps you improve a lot.

Excellent coach! I wish I could have give him more than a 5 stars. I strongly recommend him!!

Great practice!!! Very helpful and definitely worth it. Covered a lot and he made everything easy to understand. Highly recommended!!!

Learned a lot of new techniques with good amount of examples.

Michael gave me an awesome lesson with really insightful tips on what I was doing right and wrong (planting feet, etc.). I learned a lot in the session and will definitely book him again in the future once my form improves to take me to the next level.

Michael evaluated our whole team, pointed out our mistakes and showed us the right way to play the game. As a result, we are playing better help-defense and our offense is more efficient and much improved. Highly recommended!!!

Michael really knows his stuff and his fundamentals really makes everything seem very easy also his dynamic workouts help make the fundamentals less difficult to learn it

Very good and professional. Patient with solid fundamentals. Highly Recommended.

Great experience so far. Covers lots of ground per lesson. Very efficient lessons that emphasized repetition on my needs and core issues. Will definitely continue to work with Michael.
Highly recommended.
