Hello my name is Michael Clark and I am a 23 years old. I was born and raised in Green, Ohio and have been involved with the Green youth sports programs my entire life. I recently graduated from Kent State with a degree in Communications and Business while playing baseball. I was drafted by the Boston Red Sox out of high school, the Houston Astros my junior year of college, and signed with the Texas Rangers afters my senior year. I spent this previous summer in Arizona with the Texas Rangers minor leagues where I was pitching well until I was injured. I made a last second decision not to return to spring training because of shoulder pain that would have resulted in another surgery. I want to spread my experience and knowledge of the game to others. I have been personally taught by Tom Holliday (2005 national pitching coach of the year), Mike Birkbeck (2011 COY), and even the legendary Tom House. I am great with kids and have a lot of experience giving lessons. I am confident that I could really make a positive impact with the kids that I would be working with.
With over 15 years of pitching experience and 8 years of teaching experience I have been around some of the most influential and successful coaches and players in the country. I have been taught by multiple national coaches of the year and have been a part of training programs designed by the Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, and the top colleges in the country. With my career coming to an end I would like to pass on the information I have gathered and begin to mold the next generation of college and professional players. I am very passionate about teaching baseball to others and take pride in each one of my clients. I focus on putting together an individualized program specific to the needs of the player. This includes a personalized binder with weekly drills, video analysis and major league comparisons, and a personalized strength and conditioning program. Along with my knowledge I also have a vast network of college coaches and professional scouts. My goal is to help your son reach their full potential and eventually earn a college scholarship.

I like to customize each session to cater to the needs of the player. This means that some drills that have been successful with one client may not be with others. Using video analysis, I break down every detail to my players and use a hands on approach to help correct issues. Will hundreds of different drills I always have "homework" for my clients to do on their own time. I like to maximize productivity during each session by having a set schedule prior to the lesson. I take pride in my clients and enjoy seeing them progress throughout each lesson.
