More About Coach Michael E

I have been playing, coaching, consulting, and giving private parent and child, baseball lessons in the Bronx, Brooklyn New York, and now in Georgia, for over 35 years combined. I've added softball lessons and training as well.
I enjoy working with players of all ages and levels, but I especially enjoy the challenges of coaching our youth between the ages of 7 and 12. I find that we as coaches, educators, and parents - lose our patience in teaching young athletes, not just a sport, but also how to think for themselves early on in life. My biggest contributions are the thanks I receive from the parents in making a difference in their child's game.
By incorporating patience through baseball/softball we are able to use a simple approach to getting these young men and women going in the same direction toward success through learning what it’s like to be a leader and a follower. You cannot do one without the other. The kids are - not only able to think for themselves during game time situations - they will learn how to think quickly and accurately.
Let me ask you this… how many times have you've heard a player, coach, or announcer say..." They have to learn how to slow the game down...”? Many times right?
My strengths are in showing the science of hitting and the mental approach and mechanics to being a field leader as a player. No matter the position.

I sum it up like this....
"The game, by reasoning, is a direct result of finding simplicity in the approach...."
