More About Coach Mia
I have had the privilege of coaching at both the Millis Pride Girls and Boys Basketball Camps. Additionally, I have served as the head coach for 4th and 5th grade girls' Metro West basketball teams. Currently, I am in my second year as an assistant coach with the New England Crusaders Girls Basketball Program, where I work with both 5th and 8th grade teams. My coaching experience spans a wide range of ages, from 3rd through 9th grade, allowing me to tailor my approach to the developmental needs of each group.
I played at Millis High School where I was captain senior year. During my time there I was a 3-time Tri-Valley League All-Star, 2-time MetroWest Daily News All-Star, Boston Herald All-Star, Team MVP, and MetroWest Division 5 Player of the Year. I played one year on an NCAA Division II scholarship at Saint Rose and currently play at the University of Massachusetts Boston. In 2025, I was named to the LEC All-Academic Team.
My sessions typically last around an hour and are focused on skills development and player growth. Drills encompass a range of areas, including shooting, dribbling, speed, and agility, and post work. The emphasis is on building each player's comfort and confidence while also challenging them to push beyond their limits and reach their full potential.
