More About Coach Max
I began as a coach while on Trial for a USL League 1 team in VA. I coached u10 boys for a year and also camps of all ages for the Richmond Kickers Youth program.
In New Jersey I coached age groups ranging from u7 - u13 of teams of boys and girls for Alex Ramos Training program.
I played high level youth soccer participating in the national championship when I was 17. I played 2 years of community college where I earned a spot on the First Team All Regino team. After that I gained 2 years of professional trialing and training with the Richmond Kickers in USL League 1, and have played on UPSL league teams in New Jersey including the Jackson Lions. I still play currently.
Depending on age and level, but main focus is fundamental skills, emphasis on ball control including juggling and ball skill emphasis before progressing to passing. Developing good hall control and comfort with the ball. Focused on developing skills rather than strength or conditioning.
Training will begin with juggling before progressing to ball work followed by short passing. The idea is to develop these skills in order to stand out and be prepared for higher levels.
