More About Coach Coach
I have been training athletes since 2020, working with athletes across a wide range of sports, including basketball, baseball, football, lacrosse, and track and field. My experience ranges from working with athletes as young as 6 years old to professional-level athletes.
I spent two years as a trainer with Extreme Training Systems, where I facilitated speed and agility classes and structured and monitored strength and conditioning programs for athletes ages 6 through high school. I also led the Butts and Guts adult fitness class once a week, giving me experience working with both youth athletes and adult clients.
I currently work with Geek Athletics as the Head Trainer. In this role, I facilitate speed and agility classes, sports performance training, and cognitive hand-eye coordination training. My approach focuses on developing athletic movement, strength, speed, coordination, and overall performance while adapting training to the individual athlete's age, experience, and goals.
I am comfortable training athletes of all ages and experience levels. My philosophy is that if an athlete is motivated to train, improve, and put in the work, I am prepared to meet them where they are and help them progress.
I hold a Certified Personal Trainer certification through ExpertRating and am First Aid, CPR, and AED certified through the American Red Cross.
I am a former New Jersey All-State football player and track athlete, earning All-State honors in 2008 and 2009. I accepted a full athletic scholarship to the University of Maine, where I played wide receiver and served as a punt returner.
During my four years at Maine, I lettered each season and earned First Team All-Conference (CAA) honors both on the field and in the classroom in 2010, 2011, and 2012. I was also recognized as a BSN All-American.
Following my collegiate career, I signed to play Arena Football, competing for two years in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. During the 2014 season, I was named Player of the Week.
Every session is built around three principles: Train. Study. Perform.
A session with me is guaranteed to bring energy, intention, and purpose. I believe effective training starts with an honest understanding of where we are, what we do well, and where there is room to grow. We focus on weaknesses while continuing to develop strengths—because becoming a better athlete and a better person requires both.
Train — Develop the skill.
We put in the work through repetition, movement, and intentional practice. Sessions may include speed and agility, eye-hand coordination, vertical and lateral explosiveness, plyometrics, cognitive training, and sport-specific movement.
Study — See, reflect, and learn.
Every session is an opportunity to understand yourself better. We begin with honest conversation about where you are and what you're working toward. We pay attention to the details, learn from mistakes, and make adjustments along the way.
Perform — Believe and execute with confidence.
The work means something when you can apply it. We take what we've developed and learned and challenge you to execute with confidence, discipline, and purpose.
A typical session begins with an honest check-in, followed by a warm-up lap and dynamic stretching. From there, we progress into plyometrics and movement preparation before moving into the specific focus of the day. Every session concludes with a proper cool-down and stretch.
Efficiency and transparency are pivotal components of every session. There is a purpose behind the work, and you should understand that purpose.
This isn't simply a workout. It's an environment designed to help you train with purpose, learn through the process, and perform with confidence.
