I like to adapt my sessions around my player's age and needs. The first session will be focusing on assessing the player's weaknesses and strengths.
Firm believer that focusing on the technical aspect of the game and working on developing a strong first touch is what players benefit from the most.
Expect to touch the ball a really high amount of times and being constantly challenged while still having a good time. My sessions are meant to be enjoyed, not hated!
I am a perfectionist. As a player as well as a coach. I always come to a session 100% prepared to work and get better.

Client Reviews

Took the time out of his day to come and train me, while he was injured. Very Tactical. In depth when it comes to drills. Just an amazing coach.

Coach Matthieu was great with my daughter. He kept her moving the entire session and pointed out anything that needed work and helped her with it. She really enjoyed the training.

Excellent coach w great personality

Matt made my son feel very comfortable immediately, and after one session he is excited to continue. As a parent his comunication to get the process started was very helpful. I would recommend Matt to anyone.

Matt has been an amazing coach for my son. He is patient, encouraging and fun. He switches up drills each week, so not one session has been the same. He has also been very flexible when scheduling. My son looks forward to going to training sessions and his soccer skills have improved. Definitely recommend Matt!

Very nice respectful, knowledgeable and a better coach than my sons actual coach. Very trustworthy and honest. My son had a lot of fun and was definitely learning new skills. We will be hiring coach Matt in the near future.

Coach Matt had the right mixture of friendliness and strict focus in the session which helped my son to feel comfortable while being serious. Paraphrasing my son's words - Coach gave him very useful tips that are easy to follow. Coach showed him what to do and worked with him. He is excited for the remaining sessions.

I’ve known Matt for the past four years, and I recommend him highly. I know Matt in the context of being his soccer coach during this time, and I feel the attributes he shows as a young man, student, and budding coach will make him an incredible personal coach.
