I currently work as a strength coach at Essential Strength in Pittsburgh, where I train individuals from all backgrounds, helping them get strong and healthy. Specializing in sports performance and rehab, I also coach the foundation phase girls at Steel City FC. In the past, I've gained valuable coaching experience at various levels, including varsity high school soccer at Sewickley Academy, assisting college teams at IUP and the University of Mount Union, and coaching for the Cleveland Force Soccer Club. With three years of experience as a personal trainer, I am passionate about combining my expertise in strength training with my love for soccer to help athletes reach their full potential.
I am a dynamic forward with an impressive soccer career, known for being a four-year starter and the leading goal scorer at Muskingum University. Following my time at Muskingum, I played my COVID year at the University of Mount Union, where I continued to make a significant impact as a key player for the team. Currently, I play for Steel City FC Women’s First Team, where I was a leading goal scorer last season, showcasing my consistent ability to deliver in high-pressure situations.
During my sessions, we always begin with a proper dynamic warm-up to prepare the body for movement. After the warm-up, we focus on speed, agility, and mobility, as these are essential components of becoming a successful athlete, particularly in soccer. The core of each practice revolves around player-specific ball work and technical drills to enhance skills. We conclude each session with a discussion of strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to assess areas for improvement and determine which drills should be incorporated into future workouts to maximize development.
