My name is coach Marv. I am a basketball skill, fundamentals, and strength/conditioning trainer. I have been basketball coaching for over 15 years. I have coached at the youth level and high school level. The high schools I have coached at are Santa Margarita Catholic High School and Mission Viejo High School. These two schools are known for their basketball excellence. I run basketball camps all throughout the year for the entire Saddleback Valley Unified School District supervising an average of 250+ basketball players annually. I also do a lot of high profile and elite basketball camps serving as a skills and fundamentals development coach.

I have the ability and knowledge to teach fundamentals of basketball to both boys and girls ages kindergarten-college. For beginning-intermeiate players, you will learn proper ways to shoot the ball with balance and proper form. You will also learn how to properly dribble, pass, rebound, play defense, etc. I believe that confidence comes natural by having proper knowledge of the fundamentals of the game. If your son or daughter wants to get started or enhance their skills, this would be a perfect opportunity to do so!

For intermediate-advanced players. I will teach players advanced basketball moved in order to get open on the floor. I will teach the fundamentals of the separation dribble, step back, spin move, jab steps, dribble jabs, etc. I can also develop your jumpshot or teach you the jumpshot. The moves I emphasize on developing have elevated hundreds upon hundreds of athletes elevate their game to the next level in AAU, high school, and college competition. If your son or daughter wants to play at the AAU, high school, or college level, my training and knowledge of the game will help you increase your chances to make that team!

My trainings are held inside excellent South Orange County Gyms. You will see great results and improvement in your first session! I don't waste time valuable time re-teaching you skills you already know. We will move on to other skills you can master in order to maximize your potential and knowledge of the game.
