More About Coach Marlyn
I currently have the “E” license. I’ve coached from ages 2-18yrs old both girls and boys. I was an assistant coach to middle school boys where we won state. I have also been an assitant coach to high school girls. I worked at soccershots. I have done private coaching sessions to work on technical training as well as conditioning. I have a child’s care license and virtues license.
I’ve most recently have played in Liga Mx Femenil with too teams! Playing experience in Europe where I played professionally for DFK Varmbols and Sindri Hofn. Before leaving, I played in the WPSL with TTi bluebonnets where I was a leading scorer. I also played with Athenians WPSL where we competed againt MX professional women’s team Pachuca and Tigres. While in college I was a training player for the Houston Dash. I went to Texas Southern University where i was a starter all 4 years. I was a best player nominee. I earned 2nd team awards and 1st team awards. I was most valuable player for my team twice. I also recieved coaches player and offensive player of the year. I broke scoring and assist records at my university. I played club for the San Antonio Texans. In highschool made regionals with my team also earning MVP.
Warm-up( Technical and dynamic)
Involves stretching correct movements possibly band work
Depending on what the player needs I will format sessions for them. Typically first sessions I do bits and pieces of ball control/technical. Then passing and movement. If available shooting. Then possibly conditioning if needed.
