More About Coach Mark
I have been coaching softball, baseball, basketball and volleyball for 36 years. I'm a retired Elementary Physical Education Teacher. I've mainly coached girls 8 to 12 years of age. I've coached in the Mount Washington and Bardstown leagues.
My main focus is on skill development.
I played High School baseball through my Junior year at Defiance Senior High School in Defiance, Ohio. I started coaching at 19 years old. Coached a group of boys 13 to 15 years old. I have 2 daughters that I coached when they played and the youngest played All-Stars and on a Travel Team.
I just completed as an assistant softball coach for Spencer County Middle School.
The first session I will look at how the player, throws, catches, fields, runs and hits a ball. I will then with the parent and player develop a plan for skill improvement.
