In 2014, Perez helped the Bulldogs pitching staff post a 3.57 E.R.A. and overall record of 33-15. Adrian College won the Michigan Intercolleigate Athletic Association regular season and conference tournament championship, and runner-up in NCAA Midwest Regional. Adrian finished with overall ranking of 22nd.
Under Perez's guidance, Holden Branch won the M.I.A.A. conference pitcher of the year, Branch was also selected first team all-conference; Midwest All-Regional team; ABCA First Team All-Region, and D3Baseball.com Second Team All-Region. Perez also guided Brent Greenwood to a first team all-conference and Midwest All-Regional team selection, and Eric Schmidt to a second team all-conference selection.
Prior to Adrian, Perez had been involved with numerous endeavors including serving a Managing Partner of Four Brothers Baseball, Inc. in New York City from June 2011 to January2014. Perez was responsible for daily operations of the company and served as the head of marketing, operations, camps, and recruitment. His experience with the youth baseball also includes working from June 2010 to June 2011 with On Deck New York, LLC as director of operations. He trained and managed a staff of 25 employees and created a curriculum for all baseball programs. In addition, he oversaw the travel program which consisted of six teams.
Perez, also, has high school coaching experience with Friends Seminary, Bayard Rustin Educational Complex, and Beacon High School. He has also mentored youth in the Harlem R.B.I. (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program and Our Lady of Sorrows Sports and Arts Kids League.
Perez hails from New York, New York and is a 2009 graduate with a bachelor's degree in history from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.
