More About Coach Mara
I was a player for 22 years and have been a soccer coach, personal trainer for 21 years. I have trained at different levels from U5-U17 and adults. High performance, recreational and amateur athletes. I have worked in preschool, elementary, middle and high schools; different clubs in Puerto Rico (as a coach, athletic trainer and sports director). I mostly work with ages 9 and up. I have a bachelor's degree in Sports Technology, certification in Wellness and Nutrition, certification in Psychological First aid, 2 soccer courses and CPR, AED and First Aid.
My athletic achievements were in track & field, soccer, Cross Country; where I win gold, silver and bronze medals. I competed at the university level in the discipline of indoor soccer and we were champions. He also belonged to the Puerto Rico National Team (soccer) for 10 years. I competed in tournaments and cups in Puerto Rico; World Cup qualifiers and Concacaf qualifiers. I got the award for the best coach and best high school athlete.
The client would get a complete session, covering their needs. Through evaluations and the observation of myself. a complete training where I always focus on the techniques to develop as well as different exercises. The training is based on: Warm-up (2 parts), stretching, physical (always with variants), technical and tactical (depends on the sport discipline) and stretching. I am always looking to develop new skills, continue development and raise the level of the athlete.
