More About Coach Manny
5 years experience as a professional pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization. During season with the nats me and a few other players will always hold camps of 20-40 kids from age 6-15. And every off season since 2012 I have trained private baseball kids in the area from ages 6-21. Highest level of players I've coached have been in the professional level.
Drafted 10th round in the 2011 MLB draft. Played 5 years in the minors in the Washington Nationals Organization. Carolina League Championship in 2014 with the Potomac nationals. Before that I played at Palm beach state college where I was a 3rd baseman and later Barry where I transferred to pitching and that's where I got drafted. I played 3rd, SS my whole life up to my sophomore year in college. Where then I decided my future was gonna be in pitching.
An actual session with me will begin with a one lap jog around the field. Then we would do some light dynamic stretching to keep getting blood flow while getting a good stretch. Once we have a good sweat going we will then get to a regular method of stretching starting from feet, up to the arms. Then I like to play catch for about 10-15 min. I would ask my client if he would like to just do pitching and or everything else too. So usually we would do a quick bullpen session, ground balls after that , and then some hitting.
While teaching him all the basics or more then that. This is all depending on my clients level of baseball , which I could tell what it is just by how he throws the first ball. After that I like wrapping up my lesson with a good cool down, light jog or light stretch.
