More About Coach Malik
I have coached a variety of different players with ages ranging from 5 years old up to 18 years old. A lot of my coaching experience came from youth soccer organizations such as Player Progression Academy (PPA) in D.C and D.C Scores while I was in college. I have also had my fair share of private clients that came from clubs I played for in my own athletic career in Australia or in Maryland. I have my grassroots license from U.S Soccer.

I played college soccer at the University of D.C which is in the Cleveland Park area of Washington D.C. I spent all 4 years there and following my graduation I signed my first professional contract in Newcastle, Australia. After a season there, I signed my next contract close to home in Germantown, Maryland with the Maryland Bobcats. I’m still currently a professional player and look to continue coaching while I am playing.
Every session would of course differ based on the type of player and what position they play. But a general overview of the session would always start with juggling. After juggling, we would move into a technical drill involving passing or dribbling. Then, position focused drills and usually end with some shooting or 1v1s.

Malik is an amazing coach! While on vacation with my family in Orlando my 10 year old wanted to sharpen his skills ahead of his soccer tryouts. He worked with Malik in the mornings before we went to theme parks and not only did he crush his tryouts but, Maliks energy and ability to make things fun for kids helped him get even more into the soccer. 10/10 would recommend Malik to anyone with kids who love soccer!
