My 15 years experience gave me the opportunity to coach individuals and teams from grades 5th to 12th. I trained and coached at Public School 71. In 2007, I took the girls team to their very first school championship and the boys team to the third round of the playoffs. At Christopher Columbus High School, I helped take the JV boys team to a 13-1 record after a 1-13 record the previous year. I also coached at Phipps Neighborhood P&J Beacon within Middle School 192. where I coached a 15U team that came together as a band brothers that could understand each other on the court.

I competed at Christopher Columbus High School Boys varsity team for 3 years which lead the team to the second round in the PSAL. My dedication to the team on and off the court allowed me to receive a scholarship to attend Five star basketball in Briarcliff Manor, NY in 1993. Through my significant coaching achievements I also helped motivate several players on their decisions to move on to college programs. Ronald Baker went to Dowling, Devon Collier went to Oregon State, Emmanuel Andujar went to Manhattan College, Jamall Stanley went to Nassau Community College and Aliyah Dorsett went to Westchester Community College. I maintained strong relationships with all players and their families even after the players graduated from high school.

I first evaluate clients experience and skills to determine their strengths and weaknesses. Once I ascertain their skill level I provide them with a introduction on what my training lesson plan will consist of. Then I move forward with stretching and warming up to help in muscle training and proper body mechanics. The basketball drills will consist of ball handling, changing directions and coordination and conditioning drills. Basketball is a sport of constant motion. if a player is not in the proper condition, they will find it difficult to keep up with other players, and the offense and defense will suffer. I will work the client to his or her best to develop a system to accommodate players in gaining a successful game plan and making sure they focus on their academics as well.
