More About Coach Malcolm
I've coached youth soccer players since I was 16 years old. I've been a coach at several youth camps/clubs (University of Maryland, Vaughan SC, Aurora SC). I have experience coaching ages 4-18 and am open to continuing to coach any aspiring players regardless of age.
Coming off playing professionally with Portland Timbers 2. I competed at the collegiate level for 4 years at the University of Maryland. I was a 2-year captain, earning All-Conference honors throughout my tenure there. Due to my success at the collegiate level, I was drafted in the first round of the 2023 MLS Superdraft - which is where my journey as a professional soccer player began.
I like to tailor my sessions toward the client(s) I'm working with. Depending on the skill level of the player(s), I can pick the most effective drills possible to help player growth. I believe in doing as many drills as possible where the client(s) consistently touches the ball, instilling comfort and technique with the ball at their feet. I like to teach in a competitive, yet fun environment, where I aim to improve my client(s) as soccer players all while making sure they're enjoying their time.
