More About Coach Lucio

I am currently Assistant coach for Springbrook Girls Varsity Basketball. I have coached/trained from levels 4th grade thru collegiate levels. I have my own business called Enhance Athletic Group and I have coached various teams from middle school thru High School for boys and girls and men's leagues. I am certified in CPR/First Aid.

I played High School basketball at Blair High School and Tacoma Academy from there I went on to the US Army and was selected to play for the All Army team in Fort Hood Texas but my ACL was injured and it was then I started my coaching career.

Before every session I speak with my clients to get a feel for what it is they are trying to pursue, then I start with some basic skill drills to see what levels and to obtain an idea of specific things they need to improve on to reach there goals. Once the layout of specific things are understood we start working on those specific skill sets such as ball handling, footwork, basic shooting, and technique. I believe in repetition and consistent work ethic. "Without Work there is no Result"

Pushes you hard through each drill and knows the right tools to make a good, smart basketball player. Also a good mentor and very good coach that'll help perfect the little things.

Coach Lucio taught four kids in my family this late afternoon, aging from 8 to 13. He is a great coach with a good knowledge about training kids. All the kids had fun, and did not consider learning basketball boring at all. Meanwhile, I saw they grasped fundamentals pretty quickly under the supervision of Coach Lucio. I also play basketball. To me, all the skills that Coach Lucio has been training are very useful and pretty important in games. Definitely, we will book more sessions with Coach Lucio!

Coach L was great. My son did a trial session with him and wasn't expecting to receive such an intense workout! He said "I got the same workout as NBA players!" So I knew from that that Coach L is a great fit for my 14 Year old to improve on his skills and to get ready for high school basketball. Coach Lucio is a Mentor and a great teacher. The few time he coached my daughter he showed her a lot of tricks on how to be aggressive and play defense. He cares about his students and always gives feedback and recap on what he taught his student and makes sure he follows up. He is dedicated and passionate with his styles. I will definitely recommend and use coach Lucio again.
