More About Coach Luca
I coached both at youth and collegiate level. I am currently a coach and scout for Serie A Elite ID camps in U.S. and for Reato Soccer Academy in New York City. I can work with kids from 6-19 years old, tailoring my approach to the individual level of the player.
I played for Juventus FC Youth in Turin, Italy for many years until at 17 I started playing semi-professional soccer in Italy. At 21 I decided to move to the U.S. to pursue higher education and I played D2 soccer at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, earning a full ride scholarship
I like to work on technical warm up, improving soccer fundamentals like ball control, first touch, and passing. I like my players to work at high intensity, combining work with the ball and athletic drills, to ensure they can perform at game-like pace. I also like to work on fast decision-making, ensuring that my players know how to play with their brain first. Finally, I am proficient in crafting position-specific schedule, working on tactical and technical fundamentals crucial for each position, specifically midfielders
