More About Coach Lorena
I am a certified Zumba instructor and I used to be a volunteer coach and activities director for an elementary school's annual camping trip. I also have experience in helping women achieve their fitness goals with workouts and programs that maximize efficiency and fit their lifestyle. I have mainly worked with children aged 6-15 and women 18+.
As a professional parkour athlete, I have had the opportunity to perform lots of very fun stunt jobs and compete in international competitions. I'll list a few of my favorites: I won first place in the females' division for the Black Forest Parkour Cup in Baiersbronn, Germany, I modeled and did parkour for Stella McCartney's adidas Stellasport winter fashion line in London (stills and video), and I also performed parkour for a private corporate dinner for ASICS in New York City.
I will ask you what your goals are and some basic lifestyle details so I can begin to develop a program that best caters to your needs and schedule. I will also ask you what physical activities you tend to enjoy more than others (ex. Running, dancing, etc.) I will cater the cardio segment of our session towards whichever cardio-related activity you prefer, and work on your strength through a tailored program composed of workouts that I live by. You will find that my workout methods will probably differ from anything you have ever tried before. As a professional athlete in a power sport that operates on strength and explosiveness, my workouts focus on getting the most results out of minimal effort and building real strength from the inside out through a combination of lifting and calisthenics.
For example, if you tell me that you want killer abs, I'll get you started with knee lifts- probably 2 sets of 10 reps. We would then progress to leg-lifts, then leg-lifts with ankle-weights, then leg-lifts done from hanging on a bar, etc. All the while never exceeding 15 reps. You get insanely better results as you would doing sit-ups and get them in 1/4 of the time (
