Logan Mercado

I have coached for 3 years at Baseball Northwest events and PECs and currently serve as a Volunteer Assistant on the Menlo College baseball staff. I primarily work with early high school and middle school ages, but I can train and coach any age that wants to learn pitching.

I played 4 years at the University of Oregon, was a right-handed pitcher, and took on various roles in my time there. Started, relieved, and closed many games throughout the years and played in the NCAA tournament all 4 years. Made 4 regionals and 2 super regionals and have pitched in front of thousands of people at a time. Some of my accolades include 2-time preseason all-conference, a Mid-season stopper of the year watchlist, and honorable mention all PAC-12.

A client can expect an assessment for the first session which will be the main focus. There will be sprinkles of knowledge in there but mostly the focus is the evaluation. From then on, we will use video, radar, and other tools to help better mechanics, increase velo, increase accuracy, whatever is demanded or whatever the client wants to improve, I can certainly help with anything that's asked. One about me is that if I don't know the answer, I'm doing whatever it takes to find out the best answer.
