More About Coach Logan

I am a 26-year-old with over 8 years of basketball coaching experience. I have a Masters in Sports Physiology from Texas A&M and worked as an assistant staff member for the men's basketball program at Stanford University. I played professional basketball overseas for two years after a playing career at Division-III Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. I also spent two years as a student manager at North Carolina State University under Hall-of-Fame women's basketball coach Kay Yow, the 9th-winningest women's coach in NCAA history, and two years as a graduate assistant coach for the men's basketball team at Texas A&M University. As the son of a high school basketball coach (and an aspiring coach myself) I love working with both kids and adults, and have extensive experience training a wide range of clients. As both a Certified Personal Trainer and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, I have spent 3 years as a personal fitness trainer both domestically and abroad, and have worked summer kids' basketball camps in several different states for the past 8 summers. I also spent several months as a strength and conditioning intern both at Texas A&M and at Duke University, where I trained multiple Olympic medal-winners and NCAA National Champions.

High School Basketball State Champion (North Carolina)
2-Year Collegiate Letter-Winner (Covenant College)
FBRM 2014 National Champion (Moldova)
One of the top foreign professional players in Costa Rica (averaged 36 min/game in 2014-15)

My workout sessions are fun, competitive, and focus on the mastery of foundational skills. Typically I break the workout into a series of drills and competitions, each with a set objective or specific score to aim for. Trainees with be held to a high level of accountability in the details, but in a manner where they are able to attain progressive success and see their skills improving. Most importantly, workouts are set up so that they are stimulating and fun, and leave trainees hungry for more.

Great session with Logan! Focused on the development areas I was interested in, gave me plenty of techniques to focus on (including pick and roll/pop screens, and off-ball screens). He sent me a detailed recap afterward so I can practice subsequently on the techniques we drilled.

Thanks Logan.

Coach Logan did an excellent job teaching my 9yr old some footwork in the post and several moves he hadn't been exposed to prior. He's professional and good with children.

My son has made great progress with Coach Logan.

Logan is a great coach and really helped my son improve his dribbling and shooting skills in one single session!

Coach Logan really inspired our 14 year old son. Now he can't wait to go out for his high school basketball team, which is a real first. And he's prepared enough now to make the team! Thank you, Coach Logan!

Logan is an excellent coach. I am a 27-old young professional and play basketball regularly for fun. I want to improve my skills because I play games in a local league. Logan evaluated my skills and pointed out what I needed to improve. He taught me very useful footwork and dribbling drills in the very first session. It was very intense but I learned a great deal. I would highly recommend him.

I'm very impressed with Logan. He's a great player and coach. My son just finished his first training session and said that he learned more in that hour than he had all year.

Logan has coached my 7 year-old son for two workouts thus far. While Logan is a coach for college athletes, he has been great instructing my son on fundamental skills and drills to help develop his game. We can't recommend Logan highly enough!

This was my son's first time working with Coach Logan and he really enjoyed it. Will be doing many more sessions with him.

Logan is an excellent coach! My 6 year-old and 11 year-old have learned and improved so much with each session. My kids have been taking classes with coach Logan for a few months and they have improved their basic skills as well as learning about more complicated plays, different strategies and advance skills. Logan is great about structuring the classes for different ages and skills and is very good with young kids.

Coach Logan was awesome.
Unparalleled knowledge and very motivating. Extremely talented coach with a perfect coach's personality. Humble and nice but highly skilled. Coach Logan has been a game changer for me and I could not recommend coach Logan highly enough.
