More About Coach Lina
I have coached for the Junior Academy for the Alexandria Soccer Association. I am currently the head coach at Justice High School for the girls' junior varsity team and assistant coach for Villarreal Virginia Academy. I have worked with both younger and older athletes. I have both certifications with U.S Soccer Grassroots 11v11, with online and in-person.
I played for three different select teams from fourth grade up until twelfth grade. I played on the varsity soccer team for all four years in high school at Robert E. Lee. I was recruited to play left back and left wing for Belhaven University and played for two years.
Focus on what the athlete wants to work on. However, going over the basics of speed, agility, and ball mastery skills is highly important. Depending on the position that the athlete plays, practice can include conditioning, foot skills, speed dribbling, passing, crossing, and shooting.
