More About Coach Lily

During my five years at Boston University, I worked with groups of high school-aged girls at the Terrier Training clinics. My coaching experience also includes training middle school boys at a Valeo Futbol Club summer camp where I helped players improve their technical ability. In high school, I helped run fun sessions at Kick Start in Cambridge for 3-5 year olds just getting started with the sport. As a former collegiate athlete, I am familiar with the recruiting process and the physical, technical, and mental skills necessary to succeed at a Division 1 program. While as a player, I dedicated countless hours to training, I recognize the importance of playing with and finding joy in the process of improvement.

As a two-time captain for the Division 1 women's soccer team at Boston University, I led the program to its first conference championship in six years. Individually, I have been named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, Patriot League All-Tournament Team, and was a NEWISA Senior Bowl invitee. As a freshman at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (high school), I was named Dual County League All-Star. I also have experience playing at the academies of two professional clubs, the Boston Breakers and INAC Kobe Leonessa in Kobe, Japan.

As such a multifaceted sport, each session will focus on specific aspect of the game that the player would like to improve. A session could focus on a technical aspect of the game such as long balls or close control, or a physical aspect such as agility or endurance. Each session will begin with a warm-up and conclude with a cooldown that can also be used as an opportunity to incorporate athlete-specific goals such as improvements in hip mobility.
