More About Coach Leslie

As a former MLB player, I played for many years throughout all levels including the major leagues. Following my career in MLB, I have been fortunate enough to coach young athletes with all different abilities ranging from Little League up through the High School level. As I continue to coach, I'm reminded of how rewarding it is to teach young athletes the basic fundamentals and progressive mechanics of the game.

Coach Leslie is, first and foremost, one of the nicest people I ever met. He's a fantastic baseball coach as well as his focus is primarily on injury prevention/arm preservation (in this case, as I'm a pitcher). If I could give him 6 stars, I would! This man knows baseball very well and I would recommend him to any adult player looking to fine tune their skills, or any youth player looking for the inside edge that only a former major leaguer can provide. Great session and looking forward to many more!

In select baseball coach, it seems like there are a lot of coaches who have had success in their baseball careers but few have the ability to coach and develop at an impactful level. There were quite a few coaches to select from and glad we selected Les. He makes it his mission to get through to the player and create positive change through actual coaching and have seen a dramatic difference after the first practice. Whenever my son’s swing needs a tune-up, Les gets him dialed in for the perfect throw or hit. We have been so impressed with the caring for my son’s growth in life and then in baseball. My son get taught what’s important for the longer term vs just a game. It’s a build for the ongoing success.

Coach Leslie does an excellent job of teaching and explaining the fundamentals of the game. He is patient and really seems to enjoy what he does. It’s nice to have this level of instruction in the west valley.

Coach Leslie is amazing. Not only is he an expert given his experience and career, but he really is an excellent teacher. My son had never played the game when he came to Coach Leslie but he was afforded a tremendous amount of patience and encouragement. From the fundamentals to confidence building, Leslie covered all the bases. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my son. Totally worth it!

Coach Leslie was great with my 12 year old. He was patient, encouraging, and was able to explain what he wanted my son to do in a clear, pre use manner. Coach kept the first session light and gave my son "homework" to do before his next session. Very pleased with the knowledge and insight that Coach Leslie has. Great coach!!! Our son just so happen to be sick his first time training with Coach Brea but fought through it. Coach Brea was very caring dedicated and understanding. Such a great fit for our son. What an outstanding session with coach Leslie! I have waited almost a week to post to see how the games have gone this week. My son has fine tuned his pitching and is really throwing heat with accuracy and confidence! His batting has improved 10 times in just 2 games. We took the fundamentals from coach Leslie back to our team and had a batting session with them yesterday!
