More About Coach Lee
Hello laxers!
My name is coach Lee, a recent transplant here in the central Florida area from the hotbed of Fairfield County Connecticut. I have coached at many levels but most recently for New Fairfield High School in Connecticut and the prestigious Melbourne Cricket Clubs Lacrosse Section in Australia. This spring I will be working as the defensive coordinator for Olympia High School as well as assisting their youth programs.
I am a defensive specialist working with long poles on the fundimentals of there footwork, positioning, stick work, and expanding there game sense on the field.
I attempt to keep the lessons enjoyable for the player but also have them work hard without them realizing that they are using techniques I learned from private lessons with Ryan Mclay when I was in highschool.
In my playing days I was a 3 year varsity starter at long stick midfield in Highschool for a top 50 ranked school annually. During my time I compiled all conference honors junior and senior year while claiming all state my senior year on a 23-0 state championship winning team. Following that I was recruited to play NCAA ball at many D3 and D2 schools in the north east, and settled on New England College, where I was a contributor for my entire time. Being apart of a rebuild with the coach at the time we helped bring the school back into reliance in 2010-12. I was a starter when we won conference and managed to make a trip to the national tournament I'm 2012. Following that I was picked up by the Melbourne Cricket Clubs state league team where I played while coaching there youth.
