I have been giving both private and group fitness sessions in San Diego, CA for the past 35 years. My coaching expertise is based on the principles I learned as a fitness trainer, competitive athlete as well as having a degree in Chiropractic, and incorporates the specific functional drills, exercises, and mindset I found most integral to excel in all levels of sports and conditioning.

I enjoy working with players and athletes of all ages and levels, but I especially enjoy the challenge of coaching those who are in a rut in their fitness program as well as those who are serious about taking their game to a winning level, because with them I can make the greatest impact in their game. My specialties include proper biomechanics, unique body exercises both on land and in water (when available), developing mental toughness and sound nutritional principles. I focus on teaching all the required fundamentals of true fitness such as strength, power, endurance, flexibility, speed, coordination, timing and of course the all-important proper mind-set.

I generally start my sessions with a proper meditation/mindset then a dynamic warm up, followed the necessary exercises and drills based on their individual strengths, weakness and goals. This is followed by a post physical/mental training session. After each session, I want my athletes to feel an immediate and dynamic improvement in his or her conditioning from day one and beyond! Most importantly, I want them all to remember that this is their chosen
lifestyle!

As a testament of my dedication and passion in the realm of fitness, health and nutrition, I won a Physical Fitness Challenge contest with David Luna, author of "The Lean Machine." It was an international contest filmed by CNN in 1982 and featured in the LA Times with a $10,000 cash prize. As an example of the extreme intensity of the contest, doing a one thumb with one hand push-up was performed not once, not twice, but with three reps!
