More About Coach Lara

I have been a personal trainer and Crossfit instructor since 2010.
I am NSCA certified and am a level 3 Crossfit trainer and a Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach. I have additional certifications in weightlifting, kettlebells, nutrition, Crossfit kids, mobility, Crossfit football, goal setting, running and endurance training. I also teach swimming to adults, and work to help adults and teenagers to meet their health and fitness needs. I work with several injured, arthritic or aged individuals to increase their work capacity.

I was formally a competitive swimmer and runner. I have competed at CrossFit regionals five times and went to the Crossfit games on a team once, and as a National Champion as an individual in 2019.

In a 55 min session
We will warm up, address mobility, ensure appropriate muscle activation and discuss outside of the gym behaviors.

We will then spend 20 min on strength specific or rehabilitative excersizes depending on the client needs.

Then 15 min are spent on developing cardiovascular capacity, pushing an intensity that is appropriate for the client.

Then the last 5-10 min we spend cooling down and discussing action plans for the week ahead.

We had a great session with Lara! She’s knowledgeable and pushed my son. He loved his session!

Great session today. Really appreciate the focus on form. I feel confident to attempt movements that I would have assumed I could not do because Lara ensures I move correctly.
