An athlete can have all the skill in the world but if he or she doesn’t have the body to support that talent, they will not be successful. Performance training is the single most important component determining the successful execution of any learned basketball skill. The more prepared the body is to support skill execution, the more effective, clean, and precise that particular skill will be. LaB Works Training offers performance enhancement training for athletes of all skill levels. Strength, speed, agility, quickness, plyometric training, balance, core strength, and flexibility are the key components that will be focused on during these sessions. There will also be a strong emphasis placed on injury prevention and muscle activation – Both imperative to junior athlete’s development and growth.

Coach L is professional, personable, works well with kids, and is a natural teacher. She really believes in teaching the fundamentals of the game like stance, ball handling, dribbling, footwork, and shooting form. Young athletes must learn these basic skills before they can play the game at their best. She models all of the skills and really walks through everything with her students. She is serious and encouraging all at the same time. My son really enjoyed his session.
