More About Coach Kwame
Years of coaching youth and high school players. I've coached with North York Academy & Sigma FC Academy. Coached ages 7-17 years old. Helped as a consultant for players going to NCAA programs, the do's and don't of college soccer, what to look for and assisted them with the process. Focused on technical and tactical skills in order to helped players better develop in whichever way they are looking for and as a professional player myself giving advice on what they could add to their game!
Captained the University of Connecticut Men's soccer 2013-2016 (AAC All rookie, 2015 Midfielder of the Year, AAC 1st team 2015&2016)
Drafted to NYCFC in 2017 pick #16 (2017-2019)
Canadian National team player
Forge FC (2019-21 2x Champion, Participated in CONCAF Champions league)
St. louis City SC 2022/23 (MLS, MLS Next Pro finalist)
Loudoun United 2023-present
Focus on technical skills, spatial awareness, positioning and positional responsibilities.
Always start with a warm up ball oriented, then we move onto technical first touch, passing, using different range of movements to free up space for yourself. Then we go into game realistic situations where we put what you learn in the smaller space into a bigger action and see if you can execute. I don't believe in over training, I believe in efficiency, and getting the work that is needed done in a proper amount of time that doesn't overload the body or the mind and at the same time having fun with what we're doing. If the trainee has questions I am more than cable to explain thing to them to make things easier.

Client Reviews
Erin (CoachUp client)
Kwame was incredible with my 10 year old. He was big on positive reinforcement and giving little notes here and there in between. The drills he had planned were exactly what my son needed help with. Kwame is very personable and is a fantastic coach! Highly recommend leveraging his coaching services!!
Michael (CoachUp client)
Very attentive. Reached out prior to first session to see what areas my player wanted to work on to ensure the session was productive and targeted to their needs. Great communication, actively coached in the moment during drills to give immediate feedback to foster improvement. Great rapport with my player, positive energy, excellent personality.
