More About Coach Kris
I have experience coaching players of all ages, starting from youth and continuing through to high school and college. My coaching background includes working with athletes at various competitive levels—from recreational soccer to club and high school programs. While I’ve coached a range of positions, my primary focus is on training goalkeepers, particularly at the club and high school levels. I currently hold four U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coaching Licenses, which reflect my commitment to player development and coaching education.
I have over 17 years of playing experience in soccer, with a specialized focus in goalkeeping. I trained for 10 years with the New England Revolution Goalkeeper Academy, where I developed high-level technical and tactical skills. I was also selected for the U.S. Olympic Development Program (ODP), through which I had the opportunity to travel and compete internationally in three different countries.
Following high school, I began my collegiate career at Gardner-Webb University, an NCAA Division I program, before transferring to Chowan University, an NCAA Division II school, where I continued my development as a student-athlete. For the past two years, I have been playing at the semi-professional level with Unknown FC, where I continue to train and compete at a high standard.
Sessions are designed to push players both technically and physically, replicating the speed and pressure of real match situations. It’s ideal for competitive players looking to sharpen their skills, improve their decision-making, and build endurance through focused, high-tempo drills.
Each athlete is different and requires a different coaching style. With a one on one, I get to know how your athlete reacts to different styles of coaching then formulates their sessions around what works best for them.
I believe that technique is required for build and solid foundation for your athletes career. Building technique helps build your athletes success to reach the next level.
